Visual connectivity was a key design consideration.

Sandyford, Dublin 18

Salesforce is a global leading CRM software technology provider. As an employee focused organisation they wanted to create a vibrant work place for their team.  This project has been delivered over multiple phases to accommodate Salesforce's growing work force in Dublin.

Initially, the brief was based on the provision of 450 workstations in open plan office areas with ancillary accommodation consisting of meeting rooms of varying sizes, 4-person huddle rooms, 2-person phone rooms, reception and pantry, comms rooms and other facilities.

The design concept was based on the creation of open plan office areas of varying sizes with no more than 50 workstations in any individual space. A new accommodation stairs was installed within a partially glazed enclosure to increase the visual and physical connectivity between the two levels.

The vivid colour palette is inspired by Salesforce corporate palette.

Visual connectivity between different parts of the floor plates (across the existing multi-storey atrium at the heart of the building) was also an active consideration in the design of the fit-out. The scope also included the provision of an additional toilet and shower core as part of the fit-out works to enhance the sanitary facility provision in the existing Landlord area. The use of a vivid colour palette in both paint and other floor and wall finishes was used to match the design standard used in Salesforce projects worldwide.
