MCA achieves new ISO Standard during lockdown02 June 2020
As a testament to our successful business continuity approach during lockdown and prioritizing the safety of our staff, MCA are delighted to announce that we have upgraded our Health and Safety standard from the OHSAS 18001:2007 to the new ISO 45001:2018. This is in addition to the re-certification of the Environmental Management System (ISO 14001:2015) and Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015) standards.
Remarkably, the MCA team undertook their audit with Certification Europe remotely during the current COVID-19 lockdown and achieved the certification, which makes it particularly memorable.
ISO 45001 certification is an enhancement of the preceding Occupational Health and Safety standard (OHSAS), aligning it with the existing International Organisation for Standardization system. Additionally, it features a strong focus on employee engagement and staff initiatives, which we at MCA actively encourage.
As the country slowly reopens the MCA team is preparing a phased return to our home in Hanover Wharf in line with government protocols and HSE guidelines, prioritising the safety of our team, clients, and visitors.
